TRANSFORM YOUR PATIENTS'
POST-FITTING EXPERIENCE!
…
It is now clear that once sound is properly reproduced, it is each person’s brain that processes, interprets, and ultimately determines the quality of the auditory experience.
However, one of these essential dimensions—auditory-cognitive perception—remains difficult to integrate into the care pathway. Discussions often rely on subjective feelings that are hard to objectify, and auditory-cognitive training solutions are rarely connected to settings or truly personalized.
Meludia Audition precisely addresses this interface.
Our approach allows for structuring and qualifying patients’ perception, enriching clinical dialogue, and offering targeted activities around auditory processing between appointments.
By facilitating a more precise expression of feelings, a better understanding of listening situations, and a personalized approach to auditory-cognitive training, Meludia helps foster communication and support long-term patient follow-up.
In a context where new approaches are beginning to structure practices, we believe it is essential for every professional to become aware of them and concretely appreciate their value.

- Longitudinal Monitoring
Meludia Audition TPI is a Class 1 Medical Device – CE marked
1st Prize for Medical Innovation in Audiology 2025
awarded by SFORL and the Hearing Foundation
Empower people with hearing loss and inform their hearing professionals
Meludia Audition is based on best practices in audiology and speech therapy
to assess and train the auditory perception of hearing aid users.
The program is based on two complementary protocols
and the monitoring of a longitudinal indicator:
The “UHD FINE TUNING” Protocol
Assistance with optimizing hearing aid settings
Longitudinal Monitoring – “The DAP”
These two protocols allow tracking, for each patient,
the evolution of the DAP or Dynamic Audio Profile, a hearing health record for the hearing aid user.
or “patient-reported”
The measurement is based on what the hearing aid user actually perceives with their hearing aids.
or “done at home”
Tests are performed at home, independently, on a smartphone.
The method allows tracking natural variations in auditory perception over time.

THE "UHD TRAINING" PROTOCOL
or auditory-cognitive training
After a period of hearing loss, the brain must relearn to interpret sounds coming from hearing aids.
Meludia Audition’s UHD TRAINING protocol offers targeted auditory-cognitive training to facilitate this adaptation.
This training aims to:
- reduce listening effort
- improve sound processing accuracy
- strengthen auditory-cognitive abilities for sound processing
The goal is to help the hearing aid user regain listening comfort in everyday life situations.
Meludia Audition training identifies areas of weakness, offers targeted work, and allows measuring progress achieved.
Auditory and cognitive stimulation activities
Program between
1 week and 3 months
A standard training takes place over a period of 4 to 12 weeks depending on the need, frequency, and results obtained.
Clinical study underway on the “UHD TRAINING” protocol, or auditory-cognitive training

THE "UHD FINE TUNING" PROTOCOL
or support for optimizing settings
Meludia Audition’s UHD FINE TUNING protocol transforms this subjective perception into actionable information to refine hearing aid settings.
The protocol is primarily based on the Intensity Perception Test – IPT, a Medical Device, which reliably identifies areas of comfort and discomfort by frequency.
The protocol is mainly based on the TPI – Intensity Perception Test.
This Class I medical device – CE marked is intended for auditory perceptual assessment and
reliably highlights comfort and discomfort zones by frequency.
And about the observational study

The IPT – Intensity Perception Test was honored with an award in Oct. 2025.

THE DYNAMIC AUDIO PROFILE - PAD
or longitudinal follow-up
The hearing of a hearing aid user evolves over time, due to:
- settings
- auditory-cognitive training
- daily use of hearing aids
- life context
Meludia Audition’s Dynamic Audio Profile (DAP) allows visualizing and tracking these changes over time.
The DAP is built from:
- data from the UHD “Fine-tuning” and “training” protocols,
- responses provided to questionnaires (listening effort, device usage, quality of life, …) collected throughout the year.
This monitoring allows:
- observing the evolution of auditory perception,
- identifying significant variations,
- better guiding adaptations in the hearing care pathway.
Every 2 to 3 months approximately, the patient receives an SMS to log into their DAP, perform mini tasks, and answer questionnaires.
Based on the information collected, they may be asked to complete a settings or training protocol.
In case of unusual variation, an alert is sent to the professional.
Like a hearing health record, the DAP allows visualizing the patient’s auditory perception over time.
